Firehouse 31910 Shackelford Rd Firehouse 3 is located on Shackelford Road just northeast of Humes Lane. This firehouse was built from the bond proceeds and the firefighters moved in September 2006. Responding from House 3 are firetruck 4034 and ambulance 4037. 4034 is a 2007 Pierce Rescue Pumper. This pumper is the district's newest truck and was put into service December 15, 2006. This pumper was purchased from bond proceeds. In October 2004, Florissantís new ambulance 4037 was placed into service. This replaced the Osage E450 ambulance 4037, which logged over 110,000 miles. The new ambulance has a LifeLine body built on an International truck chassis. This new style is projected to have a longer service life and decreased maintenance requirements. The ambulance was purchased from bond proceeds. |
