Firehouse 2 is located on Washington St. between Dunn Rd. and Derhake Rd.

House 2:

Responding from House 2 are firetruck 4024 and ambulance 4027.

 

4024 was put in service on August 2, 2004 and was purchased from the bond issue passed in 2002.  4024 is a Pierce Dash Rescue pumper.  4024 replaces 4020, which will now be used for the spare truck.

4024:

In October 2004, Florissantís new ambulance 4027 was placed into service.  This replaced the Osage E450 ambulance 4017, which logged over 90,000 miles.  The new ambulance has a LifeLine body built on an International truck chassis.  This new style is projected to have a longer service life and decreased maintenance requirements.  The ambulance was purchased from bond proceeds.  The old 4027 will be retained by the district as a spare.

 

4027:
