Firehouse 1 and the Administration Building are located in Florissant on the corner of St. Ferdinand Street and St. Francois Street. The Firehouse and Adminstration building were built with the bond proceeds and we moved into this location on August 27, 2009.

House 1 are firetruck 4015 and ambulance 4017.
4015 was put in service in July 2004 and was purchased with funds from the bond issue passed in 2002. It is a rescue-ladder-pumper that has a 105 foot ladder and replaced aerial 4012, which was 15 years old. The truck was purchased from Pierce and made in Appleton, Wisconsin.

In October 2004, Florissant's new ambulance 4017 was placed into service.This replaced the Osage E450 ambulance 4017, which logged over 100,000 miles.The new ambulance has a LifeLine body built on an International truck chassis.This new style is projected to have a longer service life and decreased maintenance requirements.The ambulance was purchased from bond proceeds.
